When a tooth is damaged, decayed, or missing, restorative dentistry brings back both how your mouth works and how it looks. The right option depends on the tooth, the bone around it, and your goals.
Dr. Ali Yazback handles a wide range of restorative work in house and refers to trusted specialists when that is genuinely the better path for you. The standard never changes: do the work, and do it well.
A titanium post placed in the jaw acts as an artificial tooth root, holding a crown, bridge, or denture. The most permanent way to replace a missing tooth.
A crown caps a damaged tooth to restore its strength and look; a bridge spans a gap using the teeth or implants on either side.
Composite fillings repair decay while blending in with the natural tooth, with no metal and a conservative, lasting result.
Full and partial dentures replace several or all teeth, restoring your bite and the natural fullness of your face.
What to Expect
We listen first. What brought you in, what you are hoping for, and anything that has worried you before.
A thorough look at your teeth, gums, and bite, explained in plain language as we go.
Only what your mouth actually needs, in the order that makes sense for you. No upselling.
Dental Implants
A dental implant replaces a missing tooth at the root. A titanium post is placed in the jaw, fuses with the bone over a few months, and then holds a crown, bridge, or denture that looks and works like the tooth you lost. It is the only replacement that also preserves the bone, which keeps the rest of your smile stable over time.
Most healthy adults are candidates. When the jawbone needs support, procedures like bone grafting often make implants possible where they would not be otherwise. Dr. Yazback plans each case around your bone, your bite, and your goals, and refers to a trusted surgical specialist when that genuinely serves you best.
Implants are staged on purpose. We let the post integrate before loading it, so the final restoration sits on a foundation that is ready to last. With good home care and regular checkups, a well-placed implant can last a lifetime.
Dentures
Dentures replace missing teeth with a removable appliance: a full denture when an arch has no remaining teeth, or a partial that clasps to the natural teeth around a gap. Done well, they restore chewing, speech, and the facial fullness that tooth loss takes away.
Fit is everything. Dr. Yazback takes the time to shape the base to your gums and balance the bite, because a denture that rocks or rubs is a denture that stays in a drawer. As your gums change over the years, a reline resurfaces the underside so the fit stays snug.
For patients who want more stability, dental implants can anchor a denture so it does not shift when you eat or speak. We walk you through every option, what it costs, and what genuinely fits your mouth and your life, before anything begins.
The Practice
Restorative plans are sequenced thoughtfully, so each step supports the next and you always know what comes when.
Bespoke and unhurried, we recommend only the restoration your mouth needs. Care is offered in English, Spanish, and French.
Questions
Most healthy people are good candidates. Weak or insufficient jawbone can be a limitation, though procedures like bone grafting can overcome that in many cases.
Dental implants have a success rate of up to 97 percent, and with proper care they can last a lifetime.
On average, crowns last five to fifteen years before they need replacing, depending on the material and how they are cared for.
Modern composite materials are durable and bond directly to the tooth. For most fillings they are an excellent, natural-looking choice.
Well-fitted dentures restore the fullness that tooth and bone loss take away, which often makes the face look fuller and more like itself.
